I posted a link to CoolCommand Visual Studio add-in past Sunday at stated that it didn't work on my laptop which runs Vista. Two readers responded that it works for them on Vista and that they love the add-in.

More than enough reason to investigate further!

I did manage to get it running at work and it has couple of nice features. The worst part of the add-in is that there is nearly no documentation and that the small about that is out there is scattered among different pages of Gaston Milano's Blog.

Here is my attempt at trying to tie some loose ends with this list and links.

  • Resolve Project Reference
  • Copy / Paste of References
  • Open File
  • Locate in Solution Explorer
  • Bug Fix: Collapse all projects  is enabled in the solution root now.

I use it also...i must say, that some features of cool command could be integrated in Visual Studio. Prehaps in VS.NET 2008 :)
