Cool links I came across this week and bookmarked. Includes only links that would fit in my had or I wanted to refer to at later time.

In previous episode: Links of the week #3 (week 37/07)

Development

  • CoolCommands for VS 2005 - Sounds like a nice VS plugin, but I won't install on my laptop. Probably since I run Vista. I'll try it at work where I run XP.
  • Wikipedia - DOT language - I really like simple text notes. Now that I know there is a plaint text graph description language I might use it...

Free Money

Blogging

  • Afna CRM - Slovenian blog about MS CRM for developers. Subscribed.
  • AdWords - Website Optimizer - One day I'll try to squeeze and extra $0.01 out of my AdSense monetized blog with this tool.

Software

  • GridMove - Assign keyboard shortcuts and resize/move any window with it. It does magic on 2+ monitor setup. Added to my tools chest.
  • DeskSpace - Vista is cool. Too bad this costs money. If it would be free ($20) I would use it just to show off.
  • SSMS Tools Pack: Main- Mladen's Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio add-in. Works on MSSSMS Express too. Worth having just for #region and collapsing feature.
  • Zoogmo - Authors posted link to this free backup solution in comments on my mozy post. I have two complaints: 1) It doesn't look polished. 2) How can it be free?
  • Building a BitTorrent Box - I might  convert my basement based server to linux and I'll need this post.

Hi, I'm using CoolCommands on Vista/VS2005+SP1+Vista patch and it works nicely. Very good add-in for VS2005.

I'm also using CoolCommands on my Vista-based laptop. Ping the tool's author and maybe he can help you out?

Hi there, I also use http://www.spellchecker.net/spellcheck! It's great! Now they have totally FREE web widget that can be installed into your page. This way my readers can spell their post before submission.

I use online free spell checker on spellchecker.net web-site. It supports German and French which I need in my translations.
