Since I was being smart about customer relations the other day... Now this is what I call excellent service:
I wrote about a great shareware product called PromptSQL few weeks ago. Their representative contact me few hours after my post and after I sent them e-mail about how happy I am with the product. Looks like my link generated some traffic on their site and shortly they sent me another email saying
Your blog has generated a lot of PromptSQL downloads -- as a small token of thanks, I'd like to offer you a complimentary license, assuming you'd like one? If you've already bought one, let me know and I'll issue a refund.
I was busy and you could also say lazy and postponed with my answer for three weeks! But a day after my "yes, please" e-mail I got my complimentary licence. It is installed and already enhancing my fresh installation of SQL Server Management Studio.
If you haven't tried the PromptSQL yet, do it ASAP. You'll love it.
