This is amazing tool is amazing - PromptQSL ands Intellisense-like word completion to good old Query Analizer. It's 2005 and I'm not sure what took MS so long to add that to QA in the first place. It adds table and column name completion and it even does automatic JOIN suggestions. It takes a lot of pain out of writing queries.

I just installed PromptSQL and haven't used it a lot yet but it sure looks like a winner so far. Some features I did test:

  • Can it work in more than one QA with different servers connected at the same time? Yes - Passed.
  • Speed? Very Fast - Passed.
  • Does it understand table name aliases when doing joins? Yes - Passed.
  • RAM consuption? 25 MB Private Bytes - Passed.

Can't wait to do some SQL development! Good work, guys!
