I found really interesting piece of (free) software over the weekend called MediaMan. It let's you collect the information about books, CDs, DVDs and other items in your media collection. And it does it in style. It can connect to Amazon and download every bit of information about imaginable.

Apart from slick user interface I was impressed by a really cool concept - scanning barcode from the media items with a webcam. So, just stick your CD/DVD/book/game in front of webcam and it is in your collection in seconds.  (I knew there had to be a use for a webcam other than chat!)

Oh yeah, OS X users might find MediaMan very similar to Delicious Library.
