Google recently announced (and other engines quickly followed) that their search engine will not follow links with rel="nofollow" in the HTML tag. It should help bloggers with the comment spam and probably in some other situations also.

I recompiled .Text project according to Scott's directions and it seems to work. If you are running a .Text v0.95 blog and can't or don't know how or if you are just lazy,... Replace the Dottext.Framework.dll in your bin folder with this one. Contact me if you have any trouble...

How do you know it works? Click on feedback link for this post and then view source of the page. Towards the end of the page source you will find a comment with a link. It should have a rel="nofollow" tag added. That's all there is to it.

Please note: This is not a solution against blog comment spam and it's not intended to be. It's just a way to tell spammer that their methods don't work. See the post title...
