If I remember correctly, you own Samsung Galaxy Spica. Did you ever tired to root it and install any of the custom firmware on it? If so, which one do you recommend and what are your experience with it (the process of installation, usage, is Spica fast enough,...)?

I do have Spica. I have tried rooting & installing custom firmware, but I never succeeded. Part of my problem is that none of my machines run 32 bit Windows, which is kind of a problem... So I gave up and left that for some other time.

If you need instructions, head over to http://slo-android.si or get yourself a copy of Monitor magazine where they featured a really complete article about rooting Spica. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.
