In case you missed it – there is now official site. This is different from “Google slovenščina” as this is “Google slovenia”. It’s not only about Google interface in Slovenian language, now Google can search only Slovenian site and this is a direct blow for How long can they hold on? Year and a half ago I predicted this.

Users coming to are now redirected to, which in theory is a good thing. But there is one bad thing. There always is. There is no “Personalised home” or “Search History” in the upper right corner. Huh?

This bothers me a lot, so now I visit The other solution is to put English/US to the top of your languages list in browser. But this can mess up other sites you might prefer in “slovenščina”.

It bugs me too, especially the lack of a "news" tab. will also take you out of the Slovenia one and to the international version.

I did the following scenario:
- Open IE
- Clear cookies
- Open -> it redirects to
- Click " in English"
- Close IE
- Open IE
- Open -> it doesn't redirect.

Hribcek: This are confusing. It looks like it works differently from browser to browser. This calls for some serious investigation. Who's gonna do it?! :)
