Looks like this will be a good week for posting to my blog. It's been a while since I last had a good week. Nothing has really changed, we are all still working really hard at work, but at least we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Nice feeling indeed. Let’s get to the point.
We’ve been using CruiseControl.NET at work and it has done wonders for our code integration. It’s really slick, fast and manageable. We build all our projects with NAnt and we manually and automatically unit-test with NUnit. And here comes the problem. Lately there were few new version of NUnit with some really nice new asserts. But NAnt is stuck with NUnit 2.2. I was trying to google+solve the problem couple of times but I had no luck.
Today I saw Scott posting exactly the answer to my question. I too wasn’t really prepared to start running tests with <exec> instead of <nunit2>. More precisely I didn’t even bother to try. Now Scott is telling me that Charlie said I could. But what’s really good new is that NAnt with universal NUnit support. I would love that.
Please hurry, Charlie!
